Our agenda for Development is our design and my benchmark, an example of our vision and plan for constituency development. It is an examined, not only of our vision, but also of the concerns and the views of the people of Nyeri Town, collectively and individually, regarding its constituency development. My leadership shall have respect for and believes on the people’s possession of their agenda’s, My management shall provide leadership but it is my prayer that the people of Nyeri Town Constituency shall adopt and own this vision.
At the end of five years, specifically, the year 2027 or around there, it will once again be judgement time for MP’s. That verdict shall be against well defined criteria and objectives save results being grateful. It is these objectives that I have decided to clearly define in this design. At the end of my future representation, we must be judged against what we promised, planned and achieved.
Therefore, ‘My agenda for Development’ is basically a presentation of what I plan and hereby commit myself to achieve in as far as economic development and the empowerment of the people of Nyeri Town in the relevant spheres of life concerned.
Development that will stand the test of time, and be of utility to the constituents of Nyeri Town must be well deliberated; it must have a focus, both short and long term. Thus, as the people of Nyeri Town, we must clearlyvisualize where we are from, where we are going to, and how we want to go there. It is such a clear vision that will put our beloved constituency on its feet; in as far as economic development is concerned. ‘My agenda for Development’ is a detailed plan of what we aspire to achieve by the end of five years. All the constituents of Nyeri Town are therefore kindly invited to commit themselves to its ideals. They are invited to actively participate, individually and collectively towards the achievement of the plans and ideals herein presented. All are invited to own the ‘Nyeri Town Constituency Dream’.
